    Valium for MRI

    Hello I am having an MRI done and was prescribed 2.5mg of Valium for anxiety. How long do I need to wait to breastfeed after one dose? Do I need to pump and dump? Baby is 4 months and exclusively breastfed

    Hello! Yes, you will need to pump for a day. I suggest waiting at least 12 hours before fully breastfeeding after taking Valium.
