  • Multiple Meds

I am currently taking 20mg lexapro 1x daily, 30mg buspirone 2x daily, 40mg Latuda1x daily, 100mg spironolactone 2x daily, and a progesterone only birth control. My doctor is wanting to add lamotrigine to help manage my ppd.

I am also currently under the care of a lactation specialist as my 3.5 month old is having troubles with very slow weight gain. My question is will adding the lamotrigine be ok while still breast feeding. I’m concerned that all of these meds are crossing through my breast milk and just want to make sure it’s not only safe for baby but also won’t exacerbate the problems we’re having with her weight gain. She went from the 22nd percentile at birth to the 5th percentile at her last appointment and we’ve already confirmed that it is not a supply issue.
