  • Cocaine and breastfeeding

As the name suggests I’ve been an idiot.
My baby is 6.5 months old. On Friday I went out for first time and ended up doing around 1g or so of cocaine. Stopped Saturday morning around 8am. Abstained from breastfeeding until approx 36 hours (around or just before 8pm Sunday evening)
my question is, is this going to be ok. I am sitting here with chronic anxiety now. Watching her like a hawk. She is asleep currently and does not seem to have been affected negatively. She is still sleeping peacefully it’s now 21:21 here in the UK.

thank you for your time. Would she be showing any negative affects already?

Sorry for the delayed response. We generally recommend a minimum 24hrs pump and dump prior to nursing after cocaine use. 36 hours should have been sufficient.
