  • Eliquis milk bath

Due to a new case of AFib I have started on eliquis. I understand this medicine is not okay for breastfeeding however am I able to use the milk pumped until I dry up for milk baths or lotions?
    Thank you

Most of the absorption from Eliquis is in the GI tract. As long as baby does not get water or product in his/her mouth, it should be ok to use your milk in this manner.
