I have a 6 and a half month old baby who i am breastfeeding. I had a terrible headache and a friend at work gave me what I thought was tylenol but after taking the pill accidently, I saw it had 240ml aspirin and caffeine as well. My daughter does not have an active viral infection, but she had runny nose with some very little cough a week ago, no fever at all. That has gone away recently and she just had a stuffy nose in the morning. I waited for 12 hours before nursing and I have pumped and dumped. I am scared that I might have made a mistake and should have waited 24 hours maybe to be safe side for the risk of Reye’s syndrome. Do you think there is any risk to her from that one dose since she was overcoming some kind of mild infection at the time?
