    Breast feeding while taking Lupron for 14 days for IVF Embyo Transfer

    Hello, I am seeing conflicting information online regarding the safety of breastfeeding while I am on Lupron. Right now I am taking 10 units each day for the next 14days. I want to know if it is safe to breast feed my daughter or do I need to pump and dump out the milk while on this medication. Also how long after stopping it can I resume breast feeding if at all?

    Lupron is not a risk to your baby, but is likely to eliminate or significantly decrease milk supply.
