  • alfuzosin

Hello, I have been prescribed alfuzosin for urinary retention. My son is 16 months old and only nurses once per day. The app says there is no data but it is likely unsafe. I was looking for more nuanced information with 1x/daily feeding for a toddler, thank you.

If you can take it in the evening before you nurse at bedtime (assuming you do so) and avoid any middle of the night milk, the risk of side effects will be very low. Try waiting at least 10 hrs between nursing and taking alfuzosin.
