Is it ok to take milk that has alcohol in it that was pumped and use to give baby a bath or make soap for baby? Will alcohol transfer to baby? What about medications in the pumped milk? Can that be absorbed in bath or through skin? Thank you!

It is okay to use milk with alcohol in it for milk baths. The alcohol will not transfer to your baby. Medications could possibly pass through the skin depending on what they are. There are a few other variables such as milk to water ratio, your baby's weight, and medication dosage that would impact absorption, but most medications are probably okay in this use. Feel free to give us a call so that we can discuss your specific medications with you personally to give you a better answer. 806-352-2519. Thank you!
