    Dr. Hale, can you give me some insight as to whether of not this drug is safe (ublituximab - Bruimvi) for a newly postpartum mom? An OB is asking me if he should advise his patient to wait 2 weeks after receiving this infusion to breastfeed, or if there is any guidance. How would you advise him? Thank you so much!

    Due to the size of this drug and the poor bioavailability, it is unlikely to cause significant problems. We do not have definitive information on this medication at this time. This MD will have to weigh the risk vs. benefit WITH the mother to determine what is best for her unique situation.
