  • DAT Scan for Parkinsons disease

Hello Dr. Hale and Team, I am looking for any information available for a patient of mine who is needing a DAT Scan. She has been told to pump and dump for 6 days. I am not finding any information in my research. Can you help?

Hello, Here is an update. Per the radiology tech she will be given I-123, and the dose was given as "5 millicuries of dat scan aka IO floupane". Thank you so much for helping!

Are they using I-123 for the contrast? Can you please find out the specific contrast and dosage so that we can calculate a wait time for this mom?
