• Chemical foot peels

Would one-time use of a chemical foot peel during the late second trimester be considered safe? Ingredients vary, but usually they contain alpha hydroxy acid, bha, glycolic acid and/or lactic acid. Thanks for your help!

The spa's medical director should have a pregnancy policy specific to their products. I don't know much about chemical peels, but I imagine the chemical concentrations of the peel will matter. If they penetrate the skin, I would recommend skipping them while you're pregnant.
