  • Venlafaxine (Effexor XR) and Buspar

    Hello,
I have been taking 300mg of Effexor and 15mg of Buspar for many years and have recently discovered I am pregnant. I have tried without success to function without antidepressants and would like to know if this combination or effexor, in particular, (since Buspar is a category B drug), at my dosage will affect the growth of my baby or how severe withdrawal symptoms are in infants exposed to such a high dosage!
    Thank You!
    Ruth
