  • Lexapro First Trimester

I'm currently 10 weeks pregnant and taking 10mg Lexapro daily. I have read about heart-related issues associated with taking Lexapro during the first trimester, and breathing problems associated with taking Lexapro during the third trimester.

    Are these valid concerns?

My OB suggested I increase to 20mg daily as my depression and anxiety are increasing. Is this safe?

    kate209,

Yes it is probably ok to increase to 20mg a day that is a still a normal dose.
