    Is 5/325 percocet short term, post cesarean q5-6h for severe pain safe while exclusively breastfeeding a newborn

    Mrs. Rusty: In general we consider it safe to use this dose postpartum. Just watch your infant for sleepiness, difficulty to arouse, poor feeding, constipation.

    I really doubt you will ever see this, but just be advised. In general this is a small dose, so I think it will be just fine.

    Lastly, Only use it when you need it.
