  • L-Theanine

Currently breastfeeding 8 month old only in the morning. Rest of day is formula. I'd like to take L-Theanine in the morning with my coffee/breakfast (after nursing). Is this safe?

    Asorv29:

No evidence one way or the other about safety of L-Theanine. Appears relatively safe.
Do not take while using antihypertensives, or stimulants for various syndromes.

One source doesn't say much about use in breastfeeding mothers.

Thank you! The third sentence says "Do to take" - did you mean Don't take or Do take?
