    Has this view changed since more studies have been done?

    What is the potential risk.

    Curcumin is rated an L3-no data-probably compatible. "Curcumin can either potentiate or decrease the action of certain medications and therefore, caution should be used when taking prescription medications and using curcumin. Probably safe during breastfeeding, but due to possible interaction with metabolism of prescription drugs, minimize use if mother or infant are on other medications concurrently."
