    Dear Baggage,

The active ingredient in teeth whiteners is hydrogen peroxide which after being applied oxidizes into water and oxygen. The other ingredients you listed are sugar and lubricants. There does not appear to be any ingredients that would necessitate interruption of breastfeeding.

    Sincerely,
    Cindy Pride, MSN, CPNP

    teeth whitening

I am a Nursing mother to a 6.5 month old I have a query about a Brand name Whizzer, non prescription tooth whitening strips the kind that disolve on your teeth the active ingredients are Pectin; PVP; Glycerol, Flavor, Hydrogen Peroxide, Sodium Methyl cellulose, Modified starch, Polysorbate 80, Sucralose.

it says not to use if pregnant or breastfeeding. Is this just to cover the manufacturer?
    Why might theses be unsafe?

    many thanks, Baggage
