  • Wart Freezer OTC

I have several plantar warts that I would like to treat. The OTC wart freezer I picked up has dimethylether 38 mL. It says do not use while breastfeeding. Is this truly not safe? My baby is 7 months old.

    amairs:

Dimethylether is a gas that freezes tissues when applied. It would evaporate instantly and I don't think any would be absorbed systemically in the human.

I'd suggest you wait an hour or so before breastfeeding following exposure.
