Is topical Rogaine safe for breastfeeding? I've seen different places with differing opinions. According to info my LC pulled up at the hospital, so little enters breastmilk it should be fine, but I wanted to double check before I use...

    JM95,

Topical use is probably ok. Only 1.4% is absorbed systemically after topical application. "It is unlikely that the amount absorbed via topical application would produce clinically relevant concentrations in breastmilk."(Medications and Mothers' Milk database, Dr Thomas Hale PhD).

I think it safe to use it since it has no relevant effect on your breast milk.
