Are there any recommendations on the use of injectable naltrexone in a Mom who is breast-feeding?

    Cheryl Laubacher,

Naltrexone is rated an L1-limited data-compatible. There are no special recommendations with this medication. When used in the injectable form it has an initial peak time of 2 hours after the injection followed by a second peak 2-3 days later. Very small amounts are transferred into breast milk. Monitor the infant for withdrawal symptoms.
