    Ambien

    Dear Jemmie,
It is probably safe for you to take this medication at night, however, you still need to monitor the baby for sedation and poor feeding. Also, if you are sleeping soundly at night, make sure that the baby is not sleeping in your bed and that there is someone available in case you are very drowsy. I hope this is helpful.

is there risk for a 4 month old and nightly ambien use? baby is not breastfed during the night e;g final feeding then take ambien and do not breastfeed (baby gets bottle during night) for 8-10 hours?
