i have been breastfeeding my 2 month old while
being on Klonopin at 1mg to 1.5mg, there are times where I need to have 2mg or 2.5 and during these times I have pumped and dumped for days to get the levels low I am wondering is it necessary to pump and dump? My
child has never exhibited any issues or sedation ever, even when I was pregnant I was on 0.75 up to 1mg a day and he was born happy and healthy with no trace amounts in his blood... and he was breastfeed from day one and the doctors had no problem with that dose I am just wondering if with an increase to 2mg or 2.5 so I need to always pump and dump? I usually
dont breastfeed him
for a few days if I take 2mg, only have had to twice but I’d rather know if it is necessary or not also
does The baby need to be weaned when a mother breastfeeds them
while taking Klonopin? Also, I only breastfeed 2-3 times a day the rest is formula
