Dear Canterburybreastfeeding,
Tc rhenium colloid is Technium 99m, a radiopharmaceutical, used for multiple diagnostic tests. There are many isotope forms and many different amounts of radiation on any given diagnostic test. It is difficult to give accurate information with the above information you provided. Please call the InfantRisk Center at 806-352-2519. We are open Monday through Friday 8 to 5 CST. We need to know the name of the test and how many mCi's (millicurries) given during the test.
Sincerely,
Cindy Pride, MSN, CPNP
