Accept that you will experience hair loss while breast-feeding, at least until your hormone levels return to normal again. You cannot completely prevent or stop hair loss after birth. It may take an average of 6 to 12 months for the hair to get back to pre-pregnancy stage, at which point the loss may slow down and return to normal. Try using some good hair products which your Dr told you,, Eat a balanced diet, full of foods that contain essential fatty acids, vitamin B12, and iron.

Hormonal changes are the main cause of hair loss, so you have to accept it. There are not any dead sure effects of Nioxin on breastfeeding baby but still, there are chances of side effects that will be a concern for you. So you should avoid it.
