LC: We don't know much about Teprenone, its not available in the US. It apparently stimulates the mucoid coating of the stomach, or its a gastric mucoprotective agent.
Mosaopride is a gastrokinetic agent that stimulates gastric emptying time. Its about 421 Daltons so it will probably enter milk to some degree. Its acts as a selective serotonin-4 agonist.

Selbex and Gasmotin
A mother received Selbex (Teprenone) 50 mg 1x3 ac and Gasmotin (Mosapride) 5 mg 1x3 ac. I was not able to find these 2 medications in Hale's Medications and Mothers' Milk 2021. Please suggest breastfeeding management for this case. Thank you very much.Tags: None
