Dear Sue Barford
A glucose tolerance test is a lab test used to check how your body breaks down sugar. Mum will be asked to drink a liquid containing certain amounts of glucose, it is probably safe to breastfeed after undergoing the test. Furthermore, it is used all the time to screen pregnant women for gestational diabetes.
