  • Brewerys Yeast

Hello I was wondering if anyone knows about how long it takes for Brewers Yeast to get out of breast milk. It looks like my child has a reaction to it and I want to continue to breastfeed but want to get all of the yeast out of my breastmilk before reintroducing breastmilk.
    Thank you.

njennings: About the amount of time for you to eliminate it from your GI tract. Perhaps 3 days or so. Yeast is not present in milk, its probably some metabolites or allergens causing the problem.
