Annkingrey:
Reglan on a short-term basis, say 3-4 weeks only, is probably Ok. All the complications were associated with long term use > 4-12 weeks.

So is Regaln okay on a short-term basis? Last I read it was frowned upon due to the side effects? Risk of tardive dyskenesia and depression? Maybe this was more a risk with long-term usage?
Thank you again -

Dear annkingrey,
Unfortunately, since herbals are not evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration, we do not know if there are any drug to drug interactions. We would suggest having a prolactin level drawn and if low would suggest a short course of Reglan. If her prolactin level is above 70, then pharmacologic therapy wouldn't be helpful.

More Milk Plus Special Blend and Micronor
Do you know if the herbs in More Milk Plus Special Blend would interfere with the efficacy of Micronor? I have a Mom with a six month old whose milk supply in the evening has gone to nil and she'd like to correct that with some herbs.
Thank you for your sage advice in advance!Tags: None
