With the limited milk volume you are administering to the infant, I don't see any problem at all with breastfeeding at 40 mg. Just observe for excitement, irritability, insomnia, and loss of appetite. Rare but possible complications with amphetamines.

    40mg Vyvanse and pumping

My little one is currently 4 1/2 months old and I pump. She also gets formula as well. She usually gets 3 bottles a days of pumped milk and 5 bottles of formula. I was just put back on my ADD medication of Vyvanse 40 mg. I’ve seen in previous posts and the response from admins seems to be that 30mg and below is usually ok for breastfeeding mothers. Is 40 mg a day that much higher than 30 mg for me to continue to pump and feed her relatively safely? Also considering she’s getting formula throughout the day so it’s not just straight breastmilk going through her system. Thank you so much.
