lurasidone (Latuda) 2015
I am wondering if there is any new data on the safety of lurasidone in lactating mothers. I have a pregnant patient with bipolar disorder who is taking a low dose of Latuda (20 mg) as an adjunct to Wellbutrin. She would like to breastfeed after her delivery. She has done very well on her current medication regimen and we are hesitating to switch her to another antipsychotic as a result. LactMed still indicates that there is no data on Latuda.
