    Hi Meir,

We've had reports of aripiprazole causing problems with lactation. If that was the issue, switching to risperidone should help. Aripiprazole (Abilify) lowers prolactin, but risperidone increases prolactin--a necessary component of successful milk production.

Abilify made me unable to breastfeed ?

to make a long story short, (assumed) due to abilify i was unable to produce any breast milk at all. I want to try again to breastfeed so my doctor recommended i switch to risperidone and see if it works this time around. Has anyone been in the situation and had success switching from abilify to risperidone and now able to lactate? Please let me know! I really want this to work!
