Just switched from labetalol to enalapril 5mg daily. What percent is infant (2month old) projected to get and should I have him monitored for labs, bp etc?

    Tbringus thanks for posting,

Enalapril is rated an L2-safer. Milk levels are very low. The amount transferred in breast milk is only 0.07-0.2% of your dose. Monitor the infant for drowsiness, lethargy, pallor, poor feeding and weight gain. I hope this helps, if you have any other questions please call the InfantRisk Center at 806-352-2519. Thanks,

    Sandra Lovato R.N.
