  • Lisinopril and breastfeeding

    Hi-
I’m wondering if there is any new info re: lisinopril and breastfeeding. My son is 10 mos old and nurses several times a day. I want to switch back to lisinopril (pre pregnancy med) from labetalol for ease of dosing and better efficacy. Is it recommended I try enalapril instead, since there is better data available?
Thank you Dr Hale & the entire Infant Risk team for your incredible work!!

    Kim:

The only time I worry about lisinopril is in breastfeeding premature infants. In your child it should be no problem at all.
