    Hi, thanks for your post.

    There are not any studies of meclizine in breastfeeding women or in children. It is likely that a significant amount gets into milk, but whether that is a risk to the baby is unclear. Meclizine is an anti-histamine like Benadryl, so the first sign of problems in the baby would be over-sedation or difficulty waking up for a feeding. We give meclizine an L3 (out of 5)("Probably safe"), mostly due to the lack of available data.
