I was wondering if anyone has experience with D-MER and if there are any medications that help with this. I have a mom who states she had mild anxiety nursing with other 2 infants at around 2 months for a short period. She now has a 24 hour old newborn and is so anxious during breastfeeding that she has opted to pump and hand express. She still has some anxiety with pumping and hand expressing, but is decreased and manageable. I was curious if there was any information on treatment options other than acknowledging the validity of what she is experiencing and supporting her. Thank you!

    Dear Jenant,

I would suggest you look at this website, http://www.d-mer.org/. They have some management options.

    Hope this helps!!
