    How soon after starting Lexapro while nursing would it take for side effects to show up in the baby?

    12-24 hours. Observe for sedation and difficulty to arouse. But after 6 weeks, no, Lexapro would have nothing to do these late occurring symptoms.

      Thank you. So I would have expected to see side effects in the baby soon after starting the medication.
