  • Amitriptyline v. Remeron

I'm currently breastfeeding a 7 month old. I've been prescribed 10 mg of Amitriptyline and 0.125 mg of Levsin to take for abdominal pain, but was told to wait until I am done breastfeeding to do so. I've also been told that Remeron could be an option. Is Amitriptyline or Remeron better in terms of what passes into the milk/side effects? Is Levsin ok to use and do I really have to wait until I'm done breastfeed to use them?
    Thank you.
