Elaine1980,
If you have only been on the medication for a few months withdrawals should be minimal, but if you can wean off the medication slowly. Monitor for irritability, and insomnia.

Withdrawal concerns from quitting fluoxetine?
I've been on a low dose of fluoxetine (10mg/day) for the past few months to treat PPD/PPA, but I'm thinking of quitting to see if that helps with some side effects I think I'm experiencing from it. With such a low dose, do I have to be concerned about withdrawal symptoms for my baby (7 months old).Tags: None
