    Hi.

I need to take Amoxicillin ( Betamox) 1 gram twice daily together with Clarithromycin 500 mg twice daily for H pylori stomach ulcer bacteria. Is this dosage safe to take and still nurse a 4 year old? Or is it too strong?

    Thanks so much

    Nikita:

Quite safe. At 4 years the dose of amoxicillin and clarithromycin transferred in milk is very low. You might see some diarrhea in infant, but I doubt it.
