This is not a problem. Dose in milk is minuscule compared to his oral dose

Amoxicillin for mom and baby
Hello! I was just prescribed amoxicillin, 500 mg 4/day for a tooth infection. My baby is currently on amoxicillin for ear infections, 400 mg/5mL (he gets 5 mL twice daily). Should I have any concerns about my dosage affecting him when he's already taking this drug (ie. effectively increasing his dosage)?
Already spoke with our pediatrician and they are not concerned, but I like to have as much information as possible. Thank you!Tags: None
