I have not been able to find info as to whether valtrex (no lesions or outbreaks anywhere in a long time) would prevent transmission by blood/fluids through a cracked nipple? Baby now 1 week old, mom was to have vaginal delivery but had c/s for NRFHT. BF exclusively but became cracked day 4-5 (overfull most likely). thanks!
