  • Long term effects from neonatal exposure

Have any analgesics been studied for any long term effects when a neonate has been exposed day 1-10?

    Dear akoons,

Many analgesics and their effects on breastfeeding have been studied. We would need to know which specific medication(s) you are taking to give accurate information. If you have questions about several, it may be easier to call us at the InfantRisk Center, 806-352-2519. We are open Monday through Friday, 8 to 5, CST.

    Sincerely,
    Cindy Pride, MSN, CPNP
