  • Any new info on Ofirmev?

I am researching best options for pain control post c-section. Any information you could provide would be helpful.

    Oknurse:

The most commonly use analgesic is hydrocodone. Toradol (ketorolac) is gaining in popularity and is often used now despite the black box warnings.

If it were me, I'd probably opt for the ketorolac. If its not enough then hydrocodone.

But one word of caution, the risk of constipation following hydrocodone use is major. Warn the moms of constipation before it happens.
