  • vicodin

I have been taking vicodin since my baby was born for headaches, hip/back pain. I am a runner and running obviously exacerbates my symptoms. I take 1-2 vicodin a day for pain. I can't take nsaid's b/c I have a bleeding disorder ITP. My infant is now 5 months postpartum. Will I/and or my baby suffer withdrawals if I stop the vicodin??

    Kneec3:

If you only take 1-2 per day (the 5 mg type), its possible that you won't have much of a withdrawal...but its certainly possible. I would taper carefully, first down to no more than one per day for a week or so, then perhaps 1/2 per day, then drop completely off.

If a drug is already expired, would it be better to not just use it?
