  • Percocet 10mg and Nursing

    Good afternoon,
Yesterday I had hernia repair surgery and was prescribed Percocet 10mg. Surgery was over and I was home around 11am. I took as prescribed every 4 hours with my last dose being taken around 11pm. My baby has been taking bottles of stored breast milk during this time. It is now noon the following day. Is it safe to resume back to nursing my 3 week old without any major side effects? I don’t plan to continue taking the Percocet and in place of that will take ibuprofen 800 mg and tramadol 50 mg every 6 hrs as needed that I was given after my delivery. Is that okay?
