    Dear mbithid,

Domperidone is not FDA approved in the United States; and therefore, we do not have access to any drug to drug interactions. You may want to contact your local pharmacist. They may have information for the drug when it was FDA approved (before 2004).

    Sincerely,

    Domperidone and Surgery

Hello, I'm currently taking 10 mg of Domperidone BID. U have to have a colonoscopy done and am concerned about drug interactions. Unfortunately most physicians are unaware of domperidone some I've gotten no guidance from my Dr. My concern is continuing to take the domperidone through the bowel prep and interactions related to electrolyte disturbances. As well as any interaction with propofol during the procedure. I am hesitant to stop taking the domperidone as I anticipate a drop in milk supply related to dehydration and stopping the domperidone would only multiply this effect. Could you provide any guidance as to whether the domperidone will complicate this situation any. Thank you.
