I have a 20 month old who is still nursing but just before bed and waking up, occasionally during the night. After unsuccessfully trying several medications for anxiety my doctor wants to try lyrica. She had suggested this before but had said I needed to stop breastfeeding and I decided not to take it. Now she is saying that she has spoken with a psychologist and the both agree since he breastfeeds so little that it should be okay. Just curious to get any current information on lyrica and breastfeeding and if would be okay since he only nurses a few times a day. Thanks.
