My youngest is 30 months old, nurses before bed and nap. I’ve been on Zoloft 25mg since he was born for anxiety. I cannot increase the dose because I get side effects that I can’t push through (diahrea, acid reflux, increased anxiety, racing heart rate). I feel like the Zoloft isn’t as effective as it once was and my anxiety has been increasing. In the past I’ve been on Celexa or Lexapro. I know Zoloft is the recommended prescription for breastfeeding mothers, but was wondering about Celexa with a toddler who nurses infrequently. Would Celexa or Lexapro be ok?

At 30 months I doubt any antidepressant will bother your infant. I’d suggest Lexapro as we ,don’t have any reported complications
