    Goldie,

Viepax (venlafaxine) is rated an L2-limited data-probably compatible. The amount that transfers into breast milk is 6.8-8.1% of your dose. Your dose is on the high end, but still within a normal dose range. We think it is probably ok to nurse while taking this medication as long as your infant is not symptomatic. Monitor your infant for sedation or irritability, not waking to feed/poor feeding and weight gain.

Seroquel (quetiapine) is rated an L2-limited data-probably compatible. The amount that transfers into breast milk is only 0.02-0.1% of your dose. You are on a low dose so it is probably ok to nurse as long as your infant is not symptomatic. Monitor your infant for sedation or irritability, apnea, not waking to feed/poor feeding, extrapyramidal symptoms and weight gain. Since you are on 2 medications with similar side effects and your infant became symptomatic try half formula and half breast milk.
