• Cimzia during pregnancy and safety of infant vaccinations.

Hello,
I'm looking for the current recommendation for a particular situation. If a patient took Cimzia during pregnancy and is currently breastfeeding, should her infant receive the rotavirus vaccine on schedule or should that be delayed?

VM1: This is really a question for a Pediatric Infectious Disease doctor. I'd suggest delaying the rotavirus vaccine even though the amount of Certolizumab in human milk is exceedingly low.

If possible, I'd ask the attending pediatrician.
